This week Nursery Owls have been reading 'Leaf Man'. We have enjoyed making leaf crowns and leaf kebabs. ''There's different colours'' ''I can see red'' We have been talking about Autumn and what we notice happening ''The leaves fall down on the grass and that's Autumn'' ''The wind blows the leaves. My birthday is in Autumn'' We have enjoyed making our own leaf pictures too ''My Dad needs long leaf legs'' I will use this red leaf as a hat''

Year 3 were really excited to check their Science experiment this week where they investigated how much fat is in a variety of crisps! They were shocked to see that the grease marks continued to grow for some crisps throughout the week! You can check out their results here! Nightingales and Sand Martins are now very eager for the next Science investigation!

Sporting Success Congratulations to Milo in Y1 who took part in his 1st gymnastics competition at the weekend. He won Gold on Vault, silver on bars and silver on P-bars. He won 2nd place overall in his group. Congratulations Milo this is a fantastic achievement! Well done Milo!

We are really looking forward to inviting Bookworms into school on Tuesday 3rd November. The children will have a chance to look at the books during the school day. The bookfair will be open to purchase books in the main hall straight after school at 3.15. All books are ONLY £3.50.

Weekly Attendance Top Tip 🌟 Attendance Top Tip of the Week Avoid "just one day off" if your child is well enough for school. It can be tempting to keep children at home for a minor cough, cold or because they are tired, but attending school helps maintain routines, friendships and learning. In most cases, children can still come to school if they are feeling generally well and able to take part in the day. Missing just one day each month can mean missing almost two weeks of learning across the school year. A consistent routine of attending school every day helps children build resilience, confidence and a positive attitude towards learning. Every school day is an opportunity to learn, grow and succeed. ⭐ Thank you for supporting excellent attendance and helping your child make the most of every day.

🚸 Our JRSOs Meet with Beccles Town Councillor 🚸 Our Junior Road Safety Officers have been very busy recently! They had the fantastic opportunity to meet with Ash Lever, Beccles Town Councillor, to discuss road safety concerns around our school. The children shared their ideas and observations about how we can help make the roads safer for pupils, families and members of our community. They spoke confidently about the importance of safe parking, careful driving and ensuring everyone can travel to and from school safely. We are incredibly proud of how well our JRSOs represented the school, demonstrating maturity, responsibility and a genuine commitment to making a positive difference. A huge thank you to Ash Lever for taking the time to meet with our pupils and listen to their views. What a fantastic week Year 6 have had! They have shown brilliant independence and perseverance when solving problems in our Parent Share. In PE, they worked hard to develop their orienteering skills, and in Religion and Worldviews they learned about why Muslims go on Hajj.

Thank you to all the families that came to our Year Three Aspire share session all about independence. We had fun doing independent tasks and our adults were not allowed to do it for us! They could only encourage us to do it independently!
