Wow—what a fun-packed week Year 4 have had!
We kicked things off with a creative literacy hook lesson, where the children designed and made their own pop-up jungles. This was followed by an exciting nutrition workshop, packed with engaging and educational activities that everyone thoroughly enjoyed.
Later in the week, we welcomed parents for our share session, during which we made some delicious rainbow wraps together. In computing, we began our new topic on Scratch, with the children learning to programme their characters to create different shapes.
In maths, we’ve been exploring graphs and charts. We visited the car park to collect real-life data on the number of cars passing our school, recording our findings using tally charts before turning the data into line graphs.
