Triple Recognition in Regional and National Awards!

We are celebrating after receiving recognition in three separate regional and national awards, highlighting excellence in governance, staff development and promoting healthy lifestyles.

We have been shortlisted for Active Education Provider of the Year at the Active Suffolk Awards, recognising its commitment to promoting physical activity, wellbeing and healthy lifestyles among pupils.

In addition, local resident Steve Keeble, Chair of our Local Trust Committee, has been shortlisted for Governor of the Year at the prestigious National School Awards. This award honours those showing exceptional leadership, dedication and service to school communities.

Adding to the celebrations, the school has also been named as one of the top-performing primary schools nationally for Staff Development by research company Edurio in their Annual Awards. This reflects our investment in developing staff at all levels, with colleagues progressing through leadership qualifications, specialist training and apprenticeship programmes to enhance their skills and expertise.

"We are incredibly proud to have been recognised in three separate awards this term. This shows the dedication, talent and commitment of our entire school community, including our staff, Local Trust Committee, pupils and families.

It is particularly pleasing to see recognition for areas that are so important to us, from supporting staff to develop their careers, to promoting healthy lifestyles and celebrating the contribution of our Local Trust Committee."
Louise Creed, Headteacher

"It is wonderful to see Albert Pye and Ravensmere’s school community recognised in this way. To be shortlisted in these awards reflects the passion of the school’s staff and Local Trust Committee, and their ambition for every child and employee to succeed. Congratulations to everyone involved on these fantastic achievements!"
Lynsey Holzer, Chief Executive Officer of the Active Learning Trust

The overall winners of the Active Suffolk Awards will be announced next month, while the National School Awards ceremony and the Edurio Awards ceremony will take place in London in December.
